What we collect
Nothing. Deadline Go has no servers and sends no data to us. We receive no information about you, your computer, or your use of the app.
Your audio files
Audio you load into Deadline Go is read from your own disk and processed entirely on your own machine. It is never uploaded, streamed, copied off your device, or shared with us or anyone else. Files you export are written only to the location you choose in the save dialog.
Data stored on your computer
Deadline Go saves its own settings and working data locally, so the app remembers your work between sessions. This stays on your Mac and is never transmitted: your library of imported files and their analysis results, per-file settings and presets, the last session state, application preferences, window size and audio device selection, and arcade high scores.
This lives in ~/Library/Application Support/Atomic Audio/. You can delete it at any time by removing that folder, and the app will start fresh.
Network access
The standard edition of Deadline Go makes no network connections at all. It contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no update checker.
The Setapp edition
If you obtained Deadline Go through Setapp, the app includes MacPaw’s Setapp framework so it can confirm your subscription is active. That component communicates with the Setapp client installed on your Mac and with MacPaw’s servers in order to verify that you hold an active subscription, and to report that the app has been used, which is how MacPaw calculates developer payouts.
That exchange is operated by MacPaw, not by us, and is governed by Setapp’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your identity, your subscription details, or any personal information from this process.
No other part of the app connects to the internet, in any edition.
Children
Deadline Go is a tool for audio production and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on request. Data stored locally on your Mac is entirely under your control, as described above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
